Cllr Rana was re-elected for Langley Green on CBC in May 2026.
Having served as councillor for Langley Green for four years, I have previously been Deputy Mayor and I am currently the Chair of the Planning Committee. I am passionate about helping people and keeping our town looking beautiful, so I will support the council stepping up the fight against fly-tipping and littering across the Borough with the council’s new Environmental Protection Team and the increase in enforcement action against those who thoughtlessly engage in such antisocial behaviour. I am very aware that we have a housing emergency within the Borough with too many local residents forced into temporary accommodation or on the council housing waiting list. I will continue to support plans for over 500 new council homes to be built for Crawley people’s needs, the majority on previously developed “brownfield” land.
