Jilly Hart was not re-elected in May 2026
I first moved to Ifield when I was just 18 months old and have lived in my current home for nearly 25 years. I believe very strongly that the neighbourhood you know best is the one you live in. It has been a privilege to represent and serve Ifield residents, as it was during my two years as Mayor of Crawley, an achievement which was an honour during a time of incredible change for Crawley. I promise to continue to protect Ifield’s historic heritage and continue to oppose the unreasonable housing development being planned for the West of Ifield. I’m a strong supporter of our local civil military partnership, and will continue work to recognise the contribution of our local armed forces, veterans and families. Also, I will support the continuing major council programme of play area improvements here in Ifield, easily one of the most extensive in the Borough.
