I have lived in Crawley for over 40 years and have a wonderful family. During this period I have operated several businesses in the area, most of them had direct contact with local people, so I understand the pressing needs of residents. As I’m very passionate about the Town I’ll work hard to promote positive change needed to improve the community. If elected, I will work for the continued investment in the pride of Tilgate – our Park, Walled Garden and Zoo. I’ll also look to ensure that Tilgate Parade remains one of our most thriving and successful shopping parades in the Borough. As a recipient of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services, I know Crawley has a wide range of community groups, charities and voluntary organisations whose contribution to Crawley is considerable and I will continue to support the council’s valuable work both practical and financial through the grants process.
