Horsham District Council’s initial response to it’s Regulation 18 Local Plan consultation is here: HDC Consultation Response
There were 159 objections with 50 comments in support and 45 observations and there is some breakdown of types within these groups. It looks like it is going to be some time before any further information from Horsham is available due to the sheer volume of comments received.
There were also a lot of comments related to the Horsham overall housing numbers and this interesting comment ‘In addition there was a general feeling among members of the public that HDC should not help meet the needs of other authorities (particularly Crawley) and that development in the district was already too high.’
